Can You See Yourself Earning $80,000 to $100,000
or More Doing Work You Truly Feel Proud Of?

If you are the type of man or woman who believes in good pay for a job well done, this may be the most important message you’ve ever read.

My name is Andrew John, owner of John’s Refrigeration, Heating and Cooling, and I would like you to consider something you may never have thought of before...

Have you ever considered a career as a professional HVAC technician?

Before I tell you why I think this could open up a whole new brighter future for you, I’d like you to meet Brian.

Brian is our Customer Service Manager.

He enjoys his work and has a great family life. But he had to go through some tough times to get here.

Before he discovered his career in HVAC, he’d always enjoyed working with his hands… doing odd carpentry jobs… installing appliances… painting houses…

And, for the most part, he liked his customers, and took good care of them. But the feast and famine life of an independent freelance contractor was tearing him up. Often times, there was just too much month left over at the end of the money — if you know what I mean.

Then he heard about a job at a local HVAC company, so he applied and got hired.

At first, he was glad to be off the roller-coaster life of trying to make it on his own.

After all, now he had a real job. Or so he thought…

The company he went to work for was, let’s just say… less than honest.

He was given no training at all…

They loaded his truck with a bunch of parts and told him to go out and sell them — whether the customer needed them or not.

He knew it was wrong.

But his boss would cuss at him for not taking advantage of people. He felt awful.

And not only that, but they made him work crazy 80-hour weeks during the summer, then when things slowed down the rest of the year, he’d get maybe one service call a day with a ton of pressure to sell, sell, sell...

This was far worse than working on his own, where at least he could treat people fairly.

He knew there had to be something better.

Fortunately, he heard about John’s, and interviewed for a job.

Right away, he could tell it was very different.

He learned that at John’s, your job as a service technician is to simply inspect the customer’s heating and air conditioning equipment.

Then, inform the customer about what you found, what options they have, and empower them with all the information they need to make the decision that is best for their situation.

No pressure, no hassle, just taking care of the customer’s best interest.

If they say they don’t care about any of those things, no problem.

You smile, thank them for the opportunity to help them keep their equipment in good condition and you’re on your way.

Why a Career With John’s Refrigeration?

At John’s, we believe our job is to take good care of people.

And that applies across the board — both for customers, and for our technicians.

Here are just a few of the benefits you could enjoy as a member of our team:

  • Guaranteed hours, even during the slow season so you don’t have to go through feast and famine which means you’ll be able to sleep well at night, knowing you’ve got a steady, dependable paycheck.

  • State-of-the-Art training, including a “Virtual Reality” setup that lets you learn in-house how to fix and maintain equipment — not only is it exciting to learn this way, it means you don’t have to travel or spend a lot of money to get the skills that will advance your career.

  • Generous paid time off so you can take trips and vacations with your family, catch up on things around the house, or just enjoy a little down time, all of which means you aren’t so consumed with work that you can’t enjoy all the good things in life.

  • Unlimited career potential, making $80,000 to $100,000 or more like many of our top technicians are making.

  • A positive, family-friendly atmosphere you’ll enjoy being a part of — no more coming home from work stressed, anxious and frustrated. Instead, you’ll actually feel proud of your work and the people you work with.

  • At John’s, we love seeing people achieve their dreams.

Whether that means taking care of your family… Traveling on your time off… Having a nice car… Buying a house... Saving for retirement…

Or even starting your own company someday.

    Why a Career in HVAC

You know, it’s almost funny, if it weren’t so sad in a way…

I go into local high schools to talk about what life is like as an HVAC tech and at the beginning of my talks, the kids are very skeptical.

They’re thinking, “Who is this guy, telling us about a career in HVAC — I’m going to college!”

    And who can blame them.

Parents, teachers, government leaders all tell you if you don’t go to college, you’ll never get a job making above $30k…

And that working with your hands isn’t a good thing.

But then I point out that while your friends are off to four years of college, racking up debt, you could be getting on-the-job training and easily making more than $30,000 a year, and on your way to more — WITH ZERO DEBT.

It’s amazing how quiet the room gets at that point.

You see, they hadn’t thought about some of the side benefits you enjoy as an HVAC tech…

The freedom of being your own boss, with your own truck…

Spending your days outdoors in the sometimes hot, but often beautiful weather we have here in Mesa…

The pleasant interactions with our loyal, lifelong customers who trust you and are truly grateful when you show up…

    The satisfaction of fixing things…

Having enough money to not have to worry about money ever again…

The pride of being self-reliant, taking care of yourself and your loved ones……

It’s not for everyone, but once these kids see the true picture, there are always a few who get it and they start seeing a whole new vision for how much better their lives could be.…

Are you beginning to see it too?…

That’s why I’ve made it my mission to inform good folks just like you about the benefits of a career in HVAC, working with good people at a great company.

Good Pay for A Good Day’s Work

    So, let me ask you…

What if you could receive a good paycheck for a good day’s work...

A stable income, even in slow times…

Good people to work with — people who like and respect you, who’ll go out of their way to see you succeed…

An honest employer who is always open to talk with you about any concerns you may have…

Industry-leading on-the-job training in technical, communication and personal development skills…

    Balanced after-hour and weekend schedules…

Generous paid time off for vacations, holidays and personal time…

Health and wellness benefits, including HSA or PPO health, dental and vision insurance…

A positive atmosphere that’s fun to be part of…

On a team with strong values, solid ethics and a great reputation.

In short, can you see a brighter future and a bigger vision for yourself?

If you feel that might just be a possibility for you, congratulations! Today could be the start of an exciting new journey for you.
